Our mission is to ACCELERATE BREAKTHROUGHS in metastatic breast cancer (mBC) by placing research at the heart of the conversation. We exist to AMPLIFY THE VOICES of the metastatic patient community and highlight the URGENT NEED for innovative, life-extending and LIFE- SAVING TREATMENTS. Every single dollar donated goes directly to fund mBC research.

MBCure is a family driven initiative striving to revolutionize the Metastatic Breast Cancer (MBC) landscape by contributing 100% of net proceeds to research, awareness, education, and access efforts.

Metastatic Breast Cancer is the same thing as Stage IV Breast Cancer and is the only form of Breast Cancer that kills. We’re on a mission to change that.

The Breasties is the first all-inclusive nonprofit organization that creates community for survivors, previvors, stage 4 thrivers, and caregivers impacted by breast and gynecologic cancers. 
We’re on a mission to support and improve the experiences of the cancer community through peer-to-peer connection, resources, and advocacy. 

BAYS was founded in 2003 with a mission to support young people experiencing breast cancer in the San Francisco Bay Area. Over the past two decades we have grown bigger and more diverse, built a solid support network, and expanded our thriving community online to reach all our members wherever they are.

Rethink Breast Cancer is a Canadian charity known for making positive change and rethinking the status quo when it comes to breast cancer. Rethink educates, empowers and advocates for system changes to improve the experience and outcomes of those with breast cancer, focusing on historically underserved groups: women diagnosed at a younger age, those with metastatic breast cancer and people systemically marginalized due to other factors within the social determinants of health.

PINK RIBBON GOOD EXISTS TO SERVE EVERY PERSON AND FAMILY AFFECTED BY BREAST AND GYNECOLOGICAL CANCER. WE PROVIDE FREE HEALTHY MEALS, RIDES TO TREATMENT, HOUSECLEANING ESSENTIALS AND PEER SUPPORT SO NO ONE IS ALONE IN THE FIGHT.

SBC supports people going through breast cancer. We provide a sanctuary of strength, compassion, and empowerment, where those diagnosed with cancer unite to share their stories, learn invaluable coping strategies, and find solace in the unbreakable bond that fuels hope, resilience, and the courage to conquer adversity.

It started in October of 1993 when Jill Freidenrich (patient) and her surgeon (Dr. Ellen Mahoney) dreamt of a community center where breast cancer patients, survivors and family members could turn for medical information and support. As it turns out, this was a dream of many.

After diligent brainstorming about the most necessary pillars of support, the needs were clear: Offer patient and family support in a safe, welcoming environment. ​Inform and educate at every step of the process. Improve coordination of medical care and community resources.

By April of 1994, Bay Area Cancer Connections became a reality due to the hard work and dedication of a part-time director and a determined volunteer force. This amazing community of supporters grew steadily over the years, so much so that in 2013, the same programs and services offered to breast cancer clients were extended to those facing ovarian cancer.

Today BACC continues its mission to support anyone affected by breast or ovarian cancer with personalized services that inform and empower. The backing of generous donors and volunteers has allowed for a range of services including support groups, counseling, a wig and bra boutique, wellness classes, expansive medical research services, a Resource Center and so much more. And with three different organization name changes including Community Breast Health Project, Breast Cancer Connections and now Bay Area Cancer Connections, we’re in the business of evolving.

With a quarter of a century under our belts, our goal is to continue to provide the services this community has come to rely on and grow with every year. Just think of the impact we can make with another 25 years at this same pace!

Our mission is to help people make sense of the complex medical and personal information about breast health and breast cancer, so they can make the best decisions for their lives.

Through our Legal & Financial Navigation Program, Triage Cancer provides patients, caregivers, advocates, community health workers, and health care professionals with free one-on-one help in the areas of health insurance, disability insurance, employment information, finances, other types of insurance, and estate planning. We are trained to help you find your way – or navigate – through the legal, financial, and practical barriers that you may face.
