I am taking the trial drug Camizestrant every morning. I got my ovaries removed in June 25 after a year of treatment. Surgical menopause is hardbut I prefer that to Lupron. I was diagnosed in June 24 and had a lumpectomy in July 24. I am starting work again as an English teacher in Nîmes, France. Also I am high risk of reocurrence because i had 2 lymp nodes involved, i am stage 2b and my tumor was grade 2. I am 41 years old. Thank you so much for what you do 💖🌺|

I was diagnosed with breast cancer (Invasive Ductal Carcinoma, Stage 1b, Grade 3, ER+ PR+, HER2-) on February 3rd, 2025. I had a lumpectomy, lymph nodes removed (only 1) on March 20th, 2025. Right now I am undergoing chemotherapy. After I complete chemotherapy, I have to have radiation, then another surgery to have my ovaries and tubes removed, then be on medication for 5-10 years or the rest of my life. To say this has all been a shock and a roller-coaster ride of emotions and more is an understatement. I am in the middle of chemo now and i am going once a week. I lost all of my hair, eyebrows, and eyelashes. Loosing my hair has been the hardest part of all of this so far. I just hope and pray my hair, eyebrows, and lashes will grow back! I am determined to fight this and win. I am also trying to think positive throughout all of this. Thank you so very much for being such an inspiration, bright shining light, real, honest, and just being you. :) |
